No, but saying all these people have pre-existing conditions related to controllable factors is just as or more ridiculous!You ever have bronchitis in your life? Congrats, you might have a preexisiting condition according to an insurance carrier.

Lazy can be applied to people who fail to look beyond their narrow world. Diet and exercise will not change a genetic disorder, a birth injury or a traumatic injury and all those things are pre-exisiting if they hapeened before you applied for insurance!!

Oh Really?!? So my sons congenital motor planning disorder, that is considered pre-exisiting when we have looked into changing insurance companies, happened because he (at 3 when he was diagnosed) is pleasure seeking and has bad habits???? Let me tell you bub, there are a lot more pre-existing …

Does ANYONE remember basic supply vs demand theory from HS economics?? When demand goes up (oh, like, when EVERYONE is required to have something) then costs go up. Costs only go down when there is a surplus of an item being sold and not much demand for it.

They have already given out a ton of waivers allowing companies to exclude or charge more for kids with pre-existing conditions. As a parent of a child with a congenital disorder this is something I've had a vested interest in following.
